VERTEX PORTABLE RADIOS |
Vertex VX-450
Both the VX-459
and VX-454 radios have a massive 512-channel capacity and 32 groups
to easily manage a variety of calls at the most complex job site
or plant operation. The VX-459 also includes Direct Channel Entry
to punch in the channel desired from the keypad for fast navigation.
As
with all Vertex Standard radios, the VX-450 series includes built-in
Emergency and Lone Worker alerts. Emergency notification is user-initiated
with a press of a button for the radio to switch to a designated
channel and send an alert for help. Lone Worker mode is a built-in
timer that requires the user to reset at a predetermined interval.
If not reset, the radio automatically switches to Emergency mode
to alert help. |
|
Vertex VX-350
The small size
is ideal for users that don't want a radio that gets in the way
and is easy to conceal when necessary.
Lone Worker capability whereby the radio sends out an emergency
alert if the timer has expired and the user has not pressed the PTT
button to reset.
If lost or stolen,
the VX-350 Series can be quickly disabled remotely by sending a
Stun command for temporary disabling or Kill command to permanently
disable the radio (then needs to be returned and re-programmed
before using again).
Designed to inform
the user when out of communication range with another ARTS™-equipped
station. If out of range more than 2 minutes, the radio senses
no signal and beeps to alert the user. The base station can then
alert the field unit to move back into range. A great solution
to keep your workers coordinated. |

Vertex VX-420
The VX-420 offers
intrinsically safe options that meet the SGS requirements of ANSI/UL913
6th Edition for use in Classes I, II, III, DIV I Groups A-G hazardous
locations.
Includes Voice
Encryption for private communications and programmable key lock
control to prevent inadvertent channel change or unwanted function
changes, which may be important when the radio is concealed and
subject to accidental pressure on the keys.
